We got amazing value for our money at Chateau De La Combe. The room was spacious and bright, with quirky and wonderful bathroom amenities. The location was perfect, set in serene French countryside. The staff treated us with kindness and made us feel very welcome.
The breakfast menu could have been improved with a greater variety of options.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in a small, lonely valley. The natural garden surrounding the property creates a dreamy atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are comfortable and the huge bathroom is a wonderful addition. The attention to detail in the hotel's renovation is impeccable.
All was absolutely splendid, there's truly nothing to improve.

the true French experience, chic and serene, inspired by the integrity of the owners raising their family, wonderful beds and linen, fantastic homemade food, sociable breakfast on the terrace.
Unclear direction to entrance.

Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. the breakfast selection was delicious and made from local produce. We enjoyed taking a dip in the outdoor pool and taking long walks on the property surrounded by trees and a serene river. We could, additionally, enjoy a great selection of books in the common room.
No negatives to mention.

Spent xmas in a beautiful castle in the French countryside. the rooms and gardens were nicely decorated and had a cozy vibe. the breakfast was included and served with fresh local products. There were plenty of hiking trails in the nearby hills and charming villages to visit.
The walls were a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors and yelling children. the location was quite remote and the roads were narrow and unlit, which made it difficult to come back at night after dinner.

We spent our Christmas holidays in a charming location surrounded by beautiful countryside views. The hotel offered a warm and cozy atmosphere, with exceptional linen and an abundance of delicious breakfast options to choose from. We especially enjoyed the homemade jams and fresh bread that was offered daily. The pool area was a wonderful place to relax and unwind, with comfortable sun loungers and stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The hotel lacked variety in terms of activities and entertainment options during the holiday season. the hotel's location made it difficult to access nearby restaurants and shops without a car, which limited our options for dining and entertainment outside of the hotel.

As a tourist, I loved the warm and friendly welcome from the family. the suite was spacious, perfect for families, with a separate bedroom for adults and a large room for the children. the bathroom was the best we've had in a chateau. the pool area was stunning, and the grounds were great for walking our dog. the breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the countryside was excellent, with fresh bread, cheese, and delicious pancakes. We will definitely stay again on our journey.
Felt at ease, no complaints.

Nestled in a small lonely valley with just nature around, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat. the rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with a huge bathroom. the service from the hosts is warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. the location is in a dreamy valley, perfect for those seeking tranquility. the natural garden and swimming pool add to the allure, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Some may find the living arrangements in the family suite to be lacking privacy, as the rooms are curtained off areas rather than separate rooms with doors.
